BINTA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL is a forward-looking primary and secondary school. It is located at No. 7-9 Princess Bola Jegede Close, Off Osolo Way, Ajao Estate, Isolo, Lagos set in extensive grounds away from the bustle of the busy main roads.  BINTA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL opened to its first pupils in February 1994 and grew rapidly through the years. It presently has a capacity of six hundred pupils.

Our goal is in line with the Corona Wide Mission of providing world class education to children and inculcating high moral and ethical values in our pupils preparing them for lifelong learning, service and fulfilment. We focus on and are dedicated to producing well rounded children equipped for self-mastery and leadership.

We provide a positive, engaging and fun learning environment with big ideas to bring out the best in each child, teaching them to strive for excellence both morally and academically. We believe there is no dull child and every child has their area of smartness and strength, and as professionals ensure that no child is left behind in the learning process, thus we help our children discover, develop and deploy their skills/talents, enabling them to attain the full expressions of their potential and giftedness.

Character education is achieved through themes, mantras, moral instructions and regular stage productions related to these themes. We give our children the chance to take the lead in whole school assemblies and school functions. In addition to this, the Six Pillars of Character, Personal Goals of IPC and the Seven Habits of Happy Kids help in building good character and leadership skills in our children.

We also get children involved in a reading programme tagged BEAR (BE EXCITED ABOUT READING) where pupils are encouraged to be avid readers and are given bookmarks and motivated with BEAR STAR badges. We encourage our children to be involved in extracurricular activities to help them unwind and consequently work better.

The development of the whole child is at the heart of the learning centre, so we teach our children to ‘Learn to Love’ and ‘Love to Learn’. Suffice it to say that we do not work alone but with a vibrant Parents Teachers Association (PTA) to keep the home/school link active and collaborative.
